This is a book of beginnings. The beginning of a revolution blended with the origins of a love story. The story opens onto a world powered by steampunk technology and arcane philosophies. Technology that should not exist but does in this post fallen world is used throughout the story. Newly discovered aliens weaponry from Mars is added to this swirling series of events.
We chronicle these events in the first book of the Splendor Series, titled Humanity’s Fight for Splendor.
Two individuals are tied to the success or failure of the first flight of the Nemesis, the experimental bomber aircraft made for the Queen’s Military Directorate. Days of risk and loss with no foreseeable good ending lay ahead for Jenny and Jacob, caught up in a rapid flow of change.
Unforeseen, a mother and a pilot become the first revolution leaders set against the mad Queen. Their meeting and bonding are told against this backdrop of a Kingdom whose foundation is made up of fear, greed, and oppression.
Throughout the book, you will find bravery, romance, and warfare between the blameless and the wicked. Be prepared to be taken to an Earth that is no longer recognizable to your imagination. A world that has lost its soul and is crying out for mercy.
I love life on Splendor! A little supernatural combined with evil force to take over the universe. Doesn't get much better. This is a great read for any one, whether you like Si-Fi or just a good story line with amazing, sometimes whimsical, sometimes totally diabolical characters. And some endowed with great wisdom. Enjoyed it immensely and looking forward to the sequel
The second book in the Splendor series, "Giants of the Mistress Moon", takes you through the compelling adventure of travelers from old earth, who now reside on Splendor, in their quest to rescue the children who were abducted by Silva for his use as the next generation of assassins.A continuing story of the thirst for power, where Giants, special gifts, self healing towers, unusual creatures and flying machines unlike anything the travelers have ever seen are used in the battle of good versus evil. Will Silva reach the children and return to earth with them so the transformation can begin or will the travelers rescue the children and return them to their families?I like that the book makes you think about things and look within yourself, or at least that is what I experienced.

I have always enjoyed reading and in my later years writing. The Splendor Series of books combines spirituality, science fiction and fantasy all in one.
The telling of stories containing realistic characters has always been my goal. We all make decisions in life that have consequences. So do my characters - having both good and bad results.
Set against the backdrop of the continuous battle of good and evil you will find the travelers seeking to save Splendor and its human settlers from ruin.
